How do you clean and sanitize the Pillar Protect Booth?
The Protect Booth is made of non-porous materials and can be cleaned with the same disinfectant products used to clean other common surfaces. In order to avoid scratching the plexiglass, please refrain from using abrasive cleaning materials. A soft cotton cloth with your preferred disinfectant is best. You may follow the CDC Guidelines for Disinfection and Sterilizationwhen cleaning the gloves or any other part of the booth.
How do you clean and sanitize the gloves?
The Pillar Protect Booth was designed so that a user inside of the booth should have enough dexterity to clean the exterior of the gloves without leaving the booth. The gloves can also be cleaned by someone on the outside of the booth. You may follow theCDC Guidelines for Disinfection and Sterilization when cleaning the gloves or any other part of the booth. The gloves are attached to the booth, however, they are easy to remove and replace if necessary. Each Pillar Protect Booth comes with three pairs of gloves, and additional gloves may be ordered separately. Gloves that are punctured and/or have begun to degrade should be replaced immediately.
Do healthcare providers still need to use other forms of PPE?
Yes. However, one of the benefits of the Protect Booth is that it creates a barrier between the healthcare provider’s PPE and the patient, so the provider may determine it is only necessary to change their PPE each time they leave the booth, rather than changing it between interacting with each patient.
Is the Pillar Protect Booth easy to move?
Yes, The booth is easily disassembled and reassembled so it can be moved or stored for later use. Total assembled weight is under 200 lbs so the booth can be placed on a dolly and moved easily without disassembling.
How does the Pillar Protect Booth ship?
The booth ships flat and is easily assembled in under 30 minutes.
What is the lead time for delivery?
Booths ship within 2-3 weeks of a confirmed order. For orders of over 50 booths the lead time may be longer. Please reach out to sales@pillarbooth.com for any questions.
Is it FDA approved and/ or is it a medical device?
No. This product has not gone through an FDA approval process. Pillar Protect Booth is not a medical device. Rather, Pillar Protect Booth is a physical barrier designed to mitigate the chances of disease transmission during person to person interaction and to allow for the conservation of single-use PPE.
What is the return policy?
Pillar Protect Booths have a one-year limited warranty (see warranty section) however all sales are final and the products cannot be returned.
Is there a warranty?
Pillar Protect Booth is covered by a one-year limited warranty. The limited warranty is simple:
Damage during shipping: If your product is damaged upon arrival let us know within seven (7) days of delivery by sending an email to support@pillarbooth.com. Please include a description and photos of the damage. We’ll send a replacement part, a new product, and/or do what we need to do to make it right. Failure to contact us within the seven (7) day period of time constitutes acceptance of the product.
Defects: The limited warranty covers defects in parts, materials, or the product as a whole that: (1) are due to manufacturing, materials, or craftsmanship; and, (2) reported within one (1) year of the date of receipt. The limited warranty does NOT cover wear and tear, water damage, stains, damage from being left outdoors, damage from incorrect assembly, incorrect cleaning, or general misuse, amongst other things. If you feel that your Pillar Protect Booth has a defect/issue that would be covered by the limited warranty, and you purchased it less than one (1) year ago, please contact us by sending an email to support@pillarbooth.com. We reserve the right to inspect your product and determine if the damage/issue falls under the limited warranty, and if it does we’ll send a replacement part, a new product, and/or do what we need to do to make it right. Pillar products purchased second hand are not covered by the limited warranty.
